After your Iridology or Naturopathy appointment you will be made a custom herbal extract, which you replace once a month. There is also a range of products available in store, including medicated ointments, essential oils, Myalup home made bath salts, extra virgin cold pressed olive oil made in Harvey, yoga mats and other naturopathic items.

Wraps are spa treatments designed to slim and tone the the body, hydrate or firm the skin or relax and soothe the muscles. The entire body is dry brushed, which is fantastic for the lymphatic system, then a thick paste is painted all over and you are wrapped up firmly, the latter part being called mummification. While the mud has its action on the body you can relax or choose a head or foot massage while resting.  Come out of your cocoon a beautiful butterfly with glowing and rejuvenated skin.

Ear Candling is a North American Indian tradition that can gently clear obstructions out of the ear using ear candles, which can improve hearing capabilities or unblock blocked ears.

In a Naturopathy consult we are able to discuss specific health issues you may already have or wish to discuss. A short health history is taken and nutritional and lifestyle advice provided. Herbal extracts are given if required.

In Iridology I take a look at your eye to check past and current states of the body. Using this plus taking something called pulses and looking at your tongue and fingernails, gives me an overall look at the entire body.  From there I am able to provide you with a 10 page summary of your body that covers 12 different organs and systems, including an eating plan that is tailored to you, lifestyle advice, your first bottle of herbal extract and further treatment recommended. After this first consult you can return once a month for an appointment for more herbs and an iridology update once a year.

Nutritional advice covers any questions, clarification or ideas of certain foods and eating plans you may have. With a wealth of eating plans on hand I am able to find an eating plan for you with specific adjustments you may need. There is no one eating plan to suit all, so every eating plan I have will be especially tailored to you. There is learning in this appointment and some age old advice it seems, rather than following the latest food fad.

Moxibustion is an ancient technique whereby a burning stick of the herb mugwort is placed near the body to warm and relieve tight muscles or help reduce cold and damp conditions.  Also effective for breech baby.

Facial, Cranio and Suture Therapy uses very gentle movements of the cranium and sutures particularly beneficial for those with tension in the head area. Tension here is mainly caused through mental stress or fatigue and this is a unique way to relieve that. It is non invasive and extremely relaxing. It can also reduce the severity of headaches and migraines.

Reflexology is an ancient therapy dating back thousands of years, believed to have it’s roots traced back to Egypt, India, Native America and China. It is based on Zone Therapy, whereby a map of the body is seen on the foot. By massaging certain areas of the feet, you are relieving pain in that corresponding area of the body or identifying areas of concern. It helps to stimulate, sedate or balance internal organs and body systems. It is also very relaxing! I start with a warm foot soak blended with Myalup sea salt, garden lavender, rose petals and essential oils. This therapy is good for those that don’t need or cannot have the intensity of a massage.

D.A.T.A. Bodywork is an all over massage like no other. Exclusive and unique, Master Kathy Dunn created this massage whom I was taught under over 15 years ago. It is gentle yet firm at the same time whilst aiding good posture, hence it’s name, Dragon and Tiger Alignment (D.A.T.A.). A blend of Eastern and Western techniques, it uses pressure points, meridian stimulus and lymphatic drainage techniques. It is a deep tissue therapeutic massage great for tension in the muscles, stress and to reduce cellulite. Trigger point therapy is offered and performed upon request, which is an effective way of reducing tightness. Pranic healing and Reiki can be performed on request. These are non invasive modalities that work on emotions and general healing. Certain stretches are offered when necessary for the client. I use beautiful rosehip oil that is made on premises. Rosehip oil is a/aging, regenerating cells under the skin and beneficial for reducing wrinkles and scars. Normally used only for the face you are treated to this oil all over the body.
